The challenge

The Gentlemen’s Expo was a new event (launched Nov ’13) so generating a base level of awareness and hype around the event as well as driving ticket sales was critical.

The solutions that fit

  • In concert with their sophisticated marketing campaign, Get Tickets added a series of e-blasts and offers to a targeted data base (over 155,000 e-mails delivered).
  • In order to drive sharing and Facebook likes, a series of contests were created to generate further social momentum, uncover influencers and increase followers.
  • Contests also provide unique sponsorship opportunities to sell and generate new revenue streams.
